Now in our second generation as a family business, Yorktown Pools & Spas continues to boast the gold standard for products and services since 1979. No matter the project, you’ll always have a family owner working right in your own backyard, striving to provide the absolute best.
Our team, who you’ll begin to know by name, combines more than 100 years of industry experience, with seven years as a Strong Support dealer. At Yorktown Pools & Spas, we also maintain The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) Tech I and II Service Certifications, sponsor local youth and community organizations and serve as members of the York County and Harrisburg Builders Associations, APSP and Northeast Spa & Pool Association (NESPA).
Dave and Pat Zech
Dave is a man of few words, but many skills. What started as a summer job while he was teaching, became a well-respected family business. Dave’s attention to detail drives the staff crazy, but has endeared him to our customers. He is happy building or servicing swimming pools. He is a Penn State graduate with a degree in zoology, so it was clear he would be most happy in the outdoors.
Along with her husband, Dave, Pat helped grow Yorktown Pools & Spas into the company it has become. She, too, began her professional life as a teacher before opening the retail store in 1982. Since then, she has worked all aspects of the swimming pool business, even helping to install in the early days. Dubbed “Pat the Pool Lady” by an early customer, she now spends most of her time on the business end of the company.
Their favorite roles are those of Grammy and Pappy to their six grandchildren. They love to travel and spend time at their cabin near Penn State. Dave is an avid woodworker, while Pat is happiest with a good book.
Joshua Zech
A co-owner, Joshua began working for Yorktown Pools & Spas as a teenager. He is currently responsible for overseeing all service work and restorations. He earned a Biology degree from Penn State and worked in sales before returning to take over the helm of Yorktown Pools & Spas.
Joshua specializes in liner replacements, especially in curvy, oddly shaped swimming pools. He loves the challenge of perfectly fitting a liner into them. He continues to be amazed how replacing the liner in a swimming pool makes the whole pool look like new.
Joshua and his wife, Kerry, have two children, Juliette and Anderson. He is also an assistant coach for the York College Women's Volleyball team. In his off time, he enjoys shooting sporting clays and watching Penn State football games.
Micah Zech
A co-owner, Micah builds and oversees all of our new in-ground swimming pools. He personally meets with our customers to determine the best fit of the pool in the yard and discusses any concerns with homeowners prior to construction. He is hands on and will be in your yard every day of the build to make sure it goes as planned. He has earned a communications degree from West Chester University and worked in public relations for a time. However, the ability to continue the family business and work outdoors again was an opportunity he jumped at. He says, “I have built pools alongside my father since I was fifteen. I know the ins and outs of pool building, and I enjoy seeing happy families living the dream of owning a beautiful swimming pool.”
Micah and his wife Jenny have two beautiful daughters, Ava and Lily. He enjoys spending time around his swimming pool with family and friends. Any spare time he has is spent honing his golf game. He feels York County, Pennsylvania is a wonderful place to live and raise a family.
Rob Eyster
Rob is the ”heart and soul” of Yorktown Pools & Spas. He has been with the company for over 20 years. He started as a laborer and has done every job at one time. No one cares more about our customers, and no one has a harder job than Rob. He spends hours arranging the schedule, so customers are taken care of and their pools serviced as timely as possible. Most of you know him by name and rely on his expertise to get your swimming pool up and running again.
Rob’s artistic side is evident in his sumptuous gardens and lovely home. He is an avid runner, and loves a good martini.
Erin Stauffer
Erin is the Construction Coordinator and handles all things construction at Yorktown. She earned her BS from Mercyhurst College in Human Ecology and comes to us with a marketing, business management and coordination background. Customer service is a top priority for Erin, so if you are a new construction customer, chances are you know her already!
Erin and her husband Bob have two teenage daughters, Peyton and Kendall. Outside of the office, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and two French Bulldogs, Louie and Lilly. In her free time, Erin likes to bike on the rail trail and can be found pool-side with friends and family in the summer.
Robin Shelley
Robin is the cheerful voice who answers calls for service. She assists Rob in the service department and manages the cleaning team. She also handles accounts receivable. If you are looking to schedule a service appointment or your opening or closing this is the person to speak to.
Robin came to us after she moved back to York from Lancaster County in 1999. Robin has 2 children and 4 beautiful grandchildren. She is heavily involved with the Boy Scouts and her grandsons as a merit badge counselor and being fundraiser chairperson. She is on her school reunion committee, and she is always volunteering to help with some activity. She loves cooking so much that she used to run her own catering business. She loves spending her free time with her grandchildren, they are the sunshine of her life.
Rosemarie Mrozinski
Rosemarie is the Retail Store Manager. She was born in York, PA and earned her AS degree in Interior Design from The Art Institute of York – Pennsylvania. From an early age she had known that making a residential or commercial space aesthetically pleasing and comfortable for all guests was a passion of hers.

She loves to visit Las Vegas yearly, it's her favorite place. She also enjoys being crafty, it makes her smile—she loves making seasonal wreaths or doing paint projects.
